My idea/favourite app is...An app that would record upcoming health (doctor, dentist, hospital, podiatrist, ...) appointments and enable one to schedule reminders either automatically, or as one off's. The department providing the appointment could schedule it on the app (as they gain that facility), or you could add you own .(pro temps) ...
An application that recreates the NHS direct symptom checker on a mobile phone. The app will ask the user a series of questions and recommend future course of action. If the action requires a emergency room visit then it alerts the emergency room or if it requires GP visit then sets up an appointment with the GP clinic. Additionally records the symptoms checked so that this can be shared with the doctor.
A application - view a "NHS magazine" that can engage all health professionals and summarise all current news happening in the medical and science field. It can inform doctor of items experiencing manfacturing problems, and providing summaries of conditions and ailments. It could also include CPD content as well as games such as sudoku, crossword, wordsearch and other games etc.
