iphone app which uses established formulae to show people how their blood alcohol level will rise and fall after a drink, it also shows the astonishing increase in the risks of having an accident while driving with various alcohol levels.

My App idea is to create a database of information relating to Mental Health, consisting of up-to-date information about prescribed medication e.g. side effects, doses and length of treatment. An educational app that displays possible costs to the health service based upon user input info.

 

Ie - Obese male smoker aged xxx = cost of managing COPD / diabetes over average life expectancy = your cost to the NHS

 

Could include/ deduct the average cost of the NHS to the taxpayer

More standardised nutritional info needed

My idea for an application to tackle obesity and improve public education of a healthy diet is not novel but I feel the government / food industry could assist greatly in this area.
