This is a great application, piloted by NHS East of England, that allows GPs to find and communicate with Consultants as an alternative to referring the patient to secondary care. Allow GPs to find service providers who are qualified to contract services to the NHS. Allow any provider who is qualified to provide services to the NHS to advertise their services to GP practices, and bid for NHS contracts.

Consult Online..an app for interaction between patients and doctors & GPs and specialists. This app would work along the lines of Skype. Most computers are online and have a web cam attached to them.
