medCrowd - solving healthcare's problems

medCrowd is my favourite app because it is the best app for solving healthcare's problems. People working in healthcare just share a problem to get help finding the best solution. They can use medCrowd to identify the best treatment for complex patients, understand differential diagnoses and to find better information about conditions. By using medCrowd, a healthcare professional can simply share a problem on their... more »

MicroGuide app

Our favourite app is the popular MicroGuide app, which helps clinicians treat patients with infections. It's designed to provide practical decision-making support for medical staff at the point of care when treating patients with infection. It's particularly helpful for doctors in situations that are not in their immediate area of expertise. You can quickly establish each patient’s risk of infection caused by antibiotic-resistant... more »

I think lots of people would find such an app helpful. They can use the app when out shopping or planning meals. Other examples include low fat diets, high... more »

Ideas for a new health app

'Locate you' and 'Top 5.'

2 Different ideas; 1. Locate you: An app that locates you within the hospital and on entry of the clinic name/ward directs you to where you need to be within the hospital. Time and again we see patients, visitors and even staff lost within hospital corridors, unable to comprehend the hospital maps. This is a simple app which reduces stress and late arrival to appointments. 2 - Top 5: An app that holds the top 5 frequently... more »
