Would it be possible to display real time A&E and walk in centre waiting times on a map. This way you could see where waits were longest and make informed choices about where to go. Of course waiting times would have to be estimated, and clinical need takes prioirty over waiting time in a queue.

This app puts emergency contact info and the hospital's logo on the home page, ahead of the lock screen, so emergency personnel can know who to contact. There are also medical conditions listed in the app that the user defines, including those drugs to which the user is allergic. Three hospitals offer it now.
