Two ideas - an app to find your nearest flu vaccination clinic and an app which makes it easier for people to cancel NHS appointments (rather than miss them and not tell us and end up wasting lots of NHS time and money)!
Ideas for a new health app
Find voluntary organisations for women and/or BME people in a local area that offer health and social care services, for example, couselling

"NHS Choices - Search for Services" as an app which can automatically utilise/access your current location (e.g. to find local GP services, walk-in clinics etc..). I actually hope this might actually already be in development using NHS Choices' existing budget!
Find out via the location services where your nearest Give Blood centre is, opening times and directions to it.
Find out your NHS Number / Use NHS number to update contact details
Syncs / transmits details (securely) to NHS orgs that patients are registered with.
Helpful app for patients to record/track home blood pressure readings, facilitating sharing of info with clinicians. I realise there are already existing apps that do this, but perhaps a free NHS (re)branded version might encourgage health professional to encourage patients to use them?
An App that allows you to receive the latest waiting times at your local a&e would be a great way to maybe discourage people from making unnecessary a&e trips if they know its a 4hr wait etc. also in my position i have two equidistant hospitals this app would make it easy for me to know which one to choose to get the quickest service in the event of an a&e trip.
