iPhone app that allows patients to measure the degree of deformity at finger joints as occurs in conditions such as Dupuytren's disease (where contractures cause the fingers to flex into the palm). This would empower patients in the management of their condition, guide self-referral for surgical treatment at the appropriate time and allow follow up of outcomes after surgical intervention.

Easy to use, just pop in your postcode and the mapping facility shows you where the nearest options are.

In November 2009 I started using myfitnesspal.com, a free online food and exercise tracker with a helpful app for iPhones and Android phones. I have lost 3 stone in weight by setting my weekly target at a lb per week.
Works on all smartphones. Tracks distance, calories and times of runs, walks or cycle rides
Fantastic app for a&e doctors. Easy to access, logical and pleasant to use.
